Snip-A-Pit Spay/Neuter Program

Snip-A-Pit

The simplest way to achieve the Brevard County shelters’ goal of becoming no-kill facilities is to stop the influx of unwanted animals. And the simplest solution to this daily flood of unwanted animals is spaying or neutering our pets.

Brevard ASAP Inc. is sponsoring a spay/neuter program for Pit Bull Terriers and Pit Bull mixes in Brevard County.

For more information on this program Contact Us.

Why Pits?

A significant percentage of the dogs handled by Brevard's South and North shelters are Pit Bulls/mixes. Also, Pit Bulls/Mixes have a relatively large litter size - often more than 10 pups at a time.

There are many medical and behavioral benefits to having your dog spayed or neutered:

  • Decreasing population
  • Elimination of sexual frustration and agression
  • Improved health for your pet
  • Covenience to owner

Brevard ASAP thanks Community Foundation for Brevard, Lowell Fund via HSUS, Animal Farm Foundation Inc. and Pit Bull Rescue Central for their support of the Snip-a-Pit Spay/Neuter Program.

Donations toward this program will be used for spay/neuter procedures on Pit Bull Terrier and Pit Bull mixes owned by low-income and other residents of Brevard County FL.
